The Beanstalks is an international competition for startups involved in healthcare and innovation through technology that compete and pitch for prizes and the title of ‘Best Health start-ups of 2017’. The Beanstalks is part of GIANT Health Events 2017.
As part of the Global Innovation and New Technology (GIANT) health event, I am leading the healthcare startup competition known as Beanstalks. My vision for this competition is for it to be a platform to identify and reward the brightest and best entrepreneurs globally who are passionate about healthcare and are looking for ways to improve our society's health.
To achieve this, I have developed a strategy that aims to have the largest number of entries of healthcare startups across the globe and the endorsement of influencers within the healthcare sector and outside it, as well as the support of successful companies who are socially aware and are looking to improve the communities they are part of.
I grew Beanstalks from 0 to 103 startups in 2017 and to 133 healthtech startups in 2018 from 20 different countries.
